Making ice cream the best way we know how

 

We make our Gelato bases with high quality, organic, locally sourced ingredients. Our flavours vary seasonally as we only source the freshest produce available.

The smoothness of ice cream comes from the size of the ice crystals; the smaller the ice crystals, the smoother the texture. Traditionally, the cream is stirred as it is slowly frozen, breaking up the ice crystals as they form to stop the formation of large crystals. However, liquid Nitrogen freezes the mixture so quickly that large ice crystals don't have time to form, which creates a fine, smooth, melt-in-the mouth consistency!
